Rates & Pricing Philosophy

About My Rates

I offer a sliding scale pricing model.

My current rate is $140 per session, and I typically require a minimum of 5 sessions to work together, as the work that we will be doing together takes time.

I offer a sliding scale beginning at $85, depending on where my client feels they fall on the scale. I’m keenly aware that $85 per session is still too high for some people; if this is the case for you, please contact me to start a conversation.

For anti-racism coaching, my rate is $180 per session, and 50% of that is paid to Black and Indigenous-led communities and individuals doing healing work within their communities. I do not offer a sliding scale for this work, but if the cost is prohibitive for you, please contact me to discuss options.

I accept Venmo, PayPal, cash or check, and request a
24-hour cancellation notice if you need to reschedule
our time together.

Sliding scale as an act of social justice

I know from experience that inner work can be life-changing, and feel strongly that it should be accessible to anyone who is committed to it.

I myself have benefitted from a sliding scale. Most often these days, I pay at the top of the scale, sometimes I pay somewhere in the middle, and occasionally I’ve paid at the bottom. When I pay more, I know that I am helping others to access the work I am advantaged to access with less sacrifice. When I pay in the middle, I know I am helping the offerer cover their costs. And when I pay at the bottom, I know I am letting my community hold me and support me. All of these are beautiful ways of participating in healing work.

How do I know where I fall on the sliding scale?

Consider paying less on the scale if you:

  • support children or other dependents alone

  • have medical expenses not covered by insurance

  • receive public assistance

  • have immigration-related expenses

  • are an elder with limited financial support

  • are an unpaid community organizer

  • are a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history

Consider paying more on the scale if you:

  • own the home you live in

  • have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money

  • travel recreationally

  • have access to family money and resources in times of need

  • work part time by choice

  • have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education (or gender and racial privilege, class background, etc.) Even if you are not currently exercising your earning power, I ask you to recognize this as a choice.

The scale is intended to be a map, inviting each of us to take inventory of our resources and examine our levels of privilege. It is a way to challenge the classist and capitalist society we live in and work towards economic justice on an individual level.

I am grateful to Hadassah Damien of Ride Free Fearless Money for much of the philosophy and language behind this approach to pricing.
